Separation Anxiety

coaching Program

It’s never too late, and no case is too severe for treatment.

Resolving separation anxiety takes time, patience, and the right approach— there are no shortcuts or quick fixes.

The good news is that, with a properly designed behavior modification plan, you and your dog can and will overcome this challenge.

science &
data-driven

With the right protocol and consistent effort, dogs with separation anxiety have an excellent prognosis.

Our Separation Anxiety Program is grounded in behavioral science, using evidence-based techniques that focus on desensitization and gradual exposure to independence. We don’t rely on quick fixes or gimmicks but follow a systematic and data-driven process.

Every aspect of your dog’s behavior is carefully observed and recorded, allowing us to modify the training plan in real-time based on their progress. This means each session builds on the last, ensuring that your dog moves forward at a comfortable pace, reducing anxiety with lasting, meaningful results.

Measurable
Progress
from Day One

We believe in what we can observe, measure, and improve, which is why every mission is meticulously documented.

From the first session, you’ll see tangible data that demonstrates your dog’s progress. You’ll film your daily training session and send it to me for review, ensuring that every adjustment is grounded in real behavioral outcomes. I track your dog’s response to each mission, so you can see how they are handling the separation stress, and how much more relaxed they are becoming over time. These insights provide concrete evidence of your dog’s advancement from the very first day.

How the Program Works

1

The Agreement

A key part of the program is ensuring your dog is never left alone while we work through the protocol.

To achieve this, it's mandatory to find your 'tribe'—a network of support that may include daycare, friends, relatives, retired neighbors, or students. This team will ensure your dog isn’t left alone during the program.

I cannot guarantee the efficacy of the protocol if this part of the agreement is not followed, and I will not take on any client unwilling to commit to this requirement.

As with any desensitization program for phobias or maladaptive fears—whether in humans or dogs—reaching the fear threshold can be more damaging and hinder progress.

Initial Assessment

2

Our first session begins with an important step: we will film your dog’s behavior during an absence, allowing them to reach and pass their threshold.

This is not only to document the severity of their separation anxiety but also to observe its nature and better understand your dog’s behavior right before reaching their threshold. This information is critical for tailoring the behavior modification plan to your dog’s specific needs.

After this initial session, we make a firm commitment to never let your dog reach their threshold again. From this point onward, our work focuses on preventing your dog from experiencing distress during any future absences.

3

DAILY MISSIONS

Five days a week, you'll receive a personalized 20-30 minute training session, carefully designed to address your dog's specific needs and challenges.

Before starting each mission, you’ll need to begin filming and continue recording the entire session from start to finish. Once completed, submit the full video to me by the end of the day for review. I will review it thoroughly, providing detailed analysis and constructive feedback.

Based on the day’s performance, I’ll prepare the next mission, which will be sent to you the following morning. The consistent feedback loop ensures we’re always moving forward, helping your dog build resilience, confidence, and security in manageable increments.

We work five days a week, leaving two rest days for your dog (and us!). These rest days are not just necessary for recovery—they are also vital for reinforcing learning. During rest, your dog processes and consolidates what they’ve learned during the training sessions. This period of recovery helps avoid mental fatigue and allows your dog to approach each new mission refreshed and ready to progress further.

SUPPORT & GUIDANCE

You are given access to my dedicated app where you can reach me anytime and where all aspects of the program are consolidated.

In the app, you'll find all lessons, daily missions, and communication in one place. You can also send me videos, voice notes, or written messages anytime, and I typically respond within a few hours.

Included in your program subscription you have 4 hours of video consultation each month.

These sessions are designed to provide extra assistance as you navigate the program. During the consultation, we’ll discuss your dog’s progress, any challenges you’re facing, and address any questions or concerns you may have. It’s a great opportunity to regroup, refine techniques, and adjust strategies as needed.

While the consultations are not required, they can be incredibly helpful in offering personalized support, troubleshooting specific behaviors, and ensuring that you feel confident and supported throughout the process. You’re welcome to schedule these sessions as needed to further enhance your dog’s progress.

HOW TO ENROLL

The Separation Anxiety Program is incredibly effective, but it’s also highly time-consuming on my end.

Each client receives personalized, daily attention, and I dedicate a significant amount of time to reviewing videos, collecting data, providing feedback, and designing each Daily Mission to ensure optimal progress.

It’s important to me that every client gets the absolute best service and support possible. To maintain this level of quality, I limit the number of clients I work with at any given time. This allows me to fully commit to each dog’s unique journey and give you the focus and care your dog needs to succeed.

As a result, I operate on a waiting list system. When a client successfully graduates from the program, I take on the next person in line.

I believe this approach helps me give each dog the attention they deserve while ensuring the best possible outcome for every case.

To join the waitlist please fill out thIS form.

Please keep in mind that joining the waitlist does not guarantee immediate enrollment in the program. I will reach out to individuals in the order they signed up when a spot becomes available.

By submitting your name and email, you agree to receive occasional updates and notifications about the program and availability.
